It is not difficult mechanically, but it does require preparation and a clear route through the Stella Montis map so you don’t waste time or risk losing progress during unsafe runs.

Arc Raiders Fragmented Logs Quest Overview
In Arc Raiders, the Fragmented Logs quest is assigned by Shani, and your objective is to interact with three separate terminals located across the Stella Montis map. The key design of this quest is that progress is saved between runs, meaning you can complete each terminal in different raids without restarting the entire quest.
There is also an important preparation requirement before you queue in.
Hard Prerequisite: Bring an Electrical Component
Before entering the raid, you must carry 1 Electrical Component in your inventory.
If you don’t already have one, you can craft it using:
- 4 Rubber Parts
- 8 Plastic Parts
This step is important because the first terminal interaction requires the item. Trying to find it inside the raid is inefficient and risky since the map is combat-heavy and unpredictable.
Step 1: Repair the Out-of-Service Terminal
Your first objective takes place in the Robotic Sandbox area of the Stella Montis map.
Start by heading down to the lower level where Robotic Sandbox A or B is located. From there, move upward into the control rooms overlooking the sandbox zones. You can reach these upper rooms by using either the rear zipline or the northern elevated bridge above the large ramp structure.
Once inside the control room, locate the interactive computer console. This is the out-of-service terminal you need to repair. Interact with it and use your Electrical Component to complete the repair action.
After this step, your quest progress will update immediately, and you can safely continue in another raid if needed.
Step 2: Enable the Power Conduit
Next, drop back down from the control room to the ground floor of the sandbox area.
From there, follow the perimeter walls until you reach the conduit access rooms. A reliable location to look for is Control Room A3 on the northeastern side of Sandbox A.
Enter the room and move toward the back-right corner. You will find the main power switch or lever there. Interact with it to activate the conduit system.
This step connects power to the mainframe network and unlocks access to the final objective area.
Step 3: Boot the Mainframe Data Terminal
The final objective takes place in the Cultural Archives section of the map, which is located further toward the central or eastern layers of Stella Montis.
Once you arrive, clear out any Arc enemies such as Shredders before interacting with the objective. This area can be dangerous if left unchecked, so securing the room first makes the process much smoother.
Move into the back service area filled with server racks and equipment. At the far corner, you will find a desk terminal. Interact with it to bring the mainframe online.
Once the terminal successfully boots, the Fragmented Logs quest is completed instantly.
