If you are the kind of player who just wants to jump back into matches without rebuilding your loadout, the Regular path is the easier call. You keep everything you have already earned, so there is no awkward stretch where your favourite tools are missing. The trade-off is simple enough. You do not get that extra 20% XP boost, and the cosmetic rewards seem a bit slimmer. Still, for a lot of people, avoiding the reset will feel better than chasing a skin they may never wear.

Extra details worth keeping an eye on

At launch, MW4 is expected to have 10 prestige tiers, so there should be plenty to work through before things start to feel stale. Rewards are likely to rotate between skins, blueprints, and other small wins that keep the climb moving. One thing players are already asking about is Double XP tokens from older games. Nobody seems fully sure how those will carry over, if at all. New tokens can still come from promo deals, and BlackCell should add its own boost too.
