The carton egg brief history
Canadian Joseph Coyle inventor of the egg carton invented the product in 1911 to settle a dispute between a hotel owner and a farmer, each of whom was wasting eggs. Since the time this simple invention was carried out, there have been an innumerable amount of versions and innovations and evolution of a wooden box to the present molded pulp, foam, and plastic.
